About Us

We are a family owned business that takes pride in our work and appreciates the responsibility handed to us by both our clients and tenants. We are not part of a national company and are proud of our local roots - in fact, we’ve been in business since the mid-1980’s. Finally, many of our employees were born in Reno/Sparks or have lived here for over a decade. As a result, we know our market and care about our community.

Dan Lorenz, CPA

Dan purchased Action Properties in 2015 and brings over a decade in real estate and construction experience to the company. Dan oversees Action’s strategic vision and ensures that Action is up to date with the latest technology. As a real estate investor with residential, commercial, and industrial properties in his portfolio, Dan focuses the business to help maximize the return for the owner of each property we manage. As Dan knows how he wants his properties to be managed, he works to ensure our clients’ properties are managed with the same level of care.

Personal Life

When Dan is not in the office working on the next project he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing at Squaw Valley and Mt. Rose, along with supporting his kids in their high school sporting programs including football, swimming, and lacrosse.  Dan recently took up the sport of golf and is currently working to improve his game.

mANAGER OF OPERATIONS

Steve Bezick

Steve oversees the day to day operations at Action and helps to keep all the departments running smoothly. He is tasked with growing our client base, continually updating the policies and procedures of the office, maintaining legal compliance, and managing Action’s progress toward our financial metrics.

Personal Life

Although not originally from Reno, Steve considers Northern Nevada to be his true home. In the winter months he and his wife AnnaMarie love to ski. They both enjoy spending time in the outdoors, especially at Lake Tahoe. Finally, Steve is an avid golfer and has a personal goal to get his handicap down to the low single digits.

Claudia White

Leasing Agent, Nevada Real Estate Licensee
Salesperson

Claudia White is a real estate salesperson, and primarily handles the leasing process. She actively follows up with our prospective tenants and coordinates the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in. Her extremely friendly and personal touch is noticed by all who deal with her.

Claudia graduated from the Door of Hope in San Diego, CA and has been a resident of Reno for 33 years. She has experience in nearly every aspect of real estate including: land and single family home sales, affordable and senior housing, and office and multifamily property management. In her free time she enjoys arts & crafts, movies, exploring with her granddaughter, and Sunday dinner with her family.

Megan Sredy

Megan is Action’s administrative problem solver and is also tasked with managing Dan’s calendar - quite the task! Megan was born and raised in Reno and graduated from McQueen High School. Megan spent 11 years in the medical field, and was pursuing her nursing degree before deciding she wanted to make a career change to real estate.

She is currently working towards her NV Salesperson license and property management permit. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to NFL games, music festivals, and spending time with her niece.


Back Office Team

In addition to our hard working front office team, we have three unsung heroes who work in the back office that help to keep our operations running smoothly.

Bryan Darnell

Accounting Supervisor

As Accounting Supervisor, Bryan is in charge of overseeing Action’s accounting department, including: policies and procedures, financial analysis, and account reconciliations. Prior to working at Action Properties he was the Assistant Controller with Premier Entertainment Technology in Las Vegas. He has also worked for MGM Resorts and the University of Montana. Bryan was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.

He has a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Montana. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his grandson, hiking, music, and billiards. He is a lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan.

Jolee Martin

Accounting Clerk

Jolee is an accounting clerk with Action Properties. Her role puts her in charge of managing the owner reporting process including: bill payment, invoice organization, and report generation. She has worked for Action since 2004 and has immense knowledge of Action’s organizational history. Anytime an employee has a historical question about Action, Jolee is quick to respond with the answer.

Michael Jackson

IT/Equipment Manager

Mike has over a decade in IT experience and is working towards his B.S. in Cyber Security. He is tasked with maintaining Action’s IT system including the hardware, software, and related infrastructure. In his free time he enjoys building and flying model RC planes.
